FPA is excited to offer a diverse range of Summer Camps for students of all ages and interests, all held at our convenient Shannon Forest Campus. Please note that these camps are exclusively available to students. When selecting a program, keep in mind that the grade levels listed are for rising grades—specifically, the grade your student will be entering for the 2025-2026 school year. Camps will be billed through your FACTS account the first week of May. At that time, all camps will be non-refundable. Volleyball Camp - Grades 4-8 & Grades 9-12

Are you interested in trying volleyball? Do you already know how to play and love the sport? Come learn the skills and techniques of this popular sport from some familiar faces at FPA. Campers will sharpen their skills through drills and games in a FPA Varsity setting. All skill levels are welcome. Camp will take place in the Upper School Gymnasium.

Basketball Camp - Grades 3-5 and Grades 6-9

Our junior camp allows the aspiring young athlete an opportunity to be taught correct fundamentals by alumni college athletes while enjoying the air-conditioned facilities of the Forest.  Our Crusader alumni and current basketball players will interact with campers to inspire and guide them in their love for the game of basketball. The focus of junior camp is to have fun while instilling correct fundamentals and form while encouraging campers spiritually with lessons from the hardwood. Camp will take place in the Upper School Gymnasium. 

What to expect:
- Daily instruction and drills focused on fundamentals and individual skill improvement
- Daily interaction with college athletes and high school athletes
- Various daily emphasis on ball-handling, passing, shooting, individual offensive moves
- Daily games to put instruction into action
- Fun activities and contests throughout the week
Awards for contest winners and exemplary character given out on the last day.

What to Bring:
- Non-marking athletic shoes (basketball/court shoes are best)
- Labeled beverage if desired (water will be provided free of charge)
- Snack or money to purchase snacks
- A willingness to try new things and have fun!

Party Plan Like a Pro! - Grades 4-6

Learn how to plan the perfect party! Discover how to choose a theme, plan the menu, make snacks, decorate the space (including the proper place setting for the party), invite guests, and even make a gift for each of the guests. Practice making a variety of no-bake snacks. Finally, as a group, host your own party on the final day for your parents or other guests you would like to invite. Become a confident, hospitable host and Party Like a Pro! This camp will take place in Mrs. Brooks' Room in the Lower School.

Unleash Your Inner Artist with Ms. Hastings! - Grades 3-5

Calling all creative kids in grades 3-5! Join Ms. Hastings for a one-of-a-kind painting class from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Dive into the bold world of pop art and the mesmerizing beauty of pointillism as we explore painting on different canvases. This isn’t just a class – it’s a colorful, fun-filled artistic adventure where you’ll create masterpieces to take home and show off! This class will take place in Ms. Hastings' Room in the Lower School.

Future Chefs - Grades 2-6 WAITLIST

Join Chef Mrs. Shirley for a delicious week of baking. Each day students will have a hands-on introduction to basic cooking skills, read recipes, and create delicious treats! This camp will take place in Mrs. Shirley's room in the Lower School. 
Monday - Decorate aprons, measuring skills, cook breakfast items (pancakes, whip cream)
Tuesday - Create Placemats, read recipes, make mini pizzas
Wednesday - Make a mini recipe book, cook some sort of snack and make homemade lemonade
Thursday - Write your own recipe, make a sweet treat

Knot Your Average Camp – Grades 3-4

Welcome to Knot Your Average Camp! This fun and hands-on camp is perfect for 3rd to 4th graders who love to get crafty. Throughout the week, campers will explore the world of macrame, learn how to make colorful friendship bracelets, and dive into a variety of other yarn and cord crafts. Whether it's creating unique wall hangings, designing personalized keychains, or experimenting with different knotting techniques, every day brings a new creative adventure! Campers will build fine motor skills, express their creativity, and leave with a collection of fun, handmade treasures. Join us for a summer full of friendship, creativity, and crafty fun!

Knot Your Average Camp - Grades 5-8

Welcome to Knot Your Average Camp for 5th to 8th graders, where imagination meets craft! This exciting camp is designed for older kids who are ready to dive deeper into the world of yarn, cord, and creativity. Over the course of the week, campers will explore macrame techniques, acquire the art of crochet, and discover other unique crafts like plastic canvas designs. They'll create everything from stylish wall hangings and decorative items to functional accessories and custom keychains. With plenty of opportunities to experiment and perfect their craft, campers will build their skills while expressing their personal style. Whether you're a beginner or already know your way around a hook or knot, this camp offers a fun and challenging experience that will leave you with a collection of cool handmade projects and new creative friendships!  This camp will take place in the Lower School Building.

Level Up – Grades 3-4

Welcome to Level Up!, where 3rd to 4th graders can enjoy a week filled with exciting games and friendly competition! At this camp, we’ll play a variety of fun games like board games, dominoes, card games, word games, and dice games. Campers will have the chance to learn the rules, practice strategies, and even create their own game variations. Each day brings new challenges that encourage problem-solving, teamwork, and a little bit of friendly rivalry. Whether you’re playing with new friends or teaming up for some group fun, Level Up! is the perfect place to enjoy games and boost your skills while having a great time!

Welcome to Level Up!, where 5th to 8th graders can take their game skills to the next level! This camp is all about playing a mix of classic and new games, including board games, card games, strategy games, word games, dominoes, and dice games. Campers will learn different strategies, improve their critical thinking, and challenge themselves with new and exciting games each day. Whether you're a fan of strategy games or prefer something more fast-paced, you'll have the chance to play, learn, and compete with others in a fun and supportive environment. Level Up! is the perfect place to enjoy friendly competition, develop new skills, and make lasting memories with friends!

Science Spirit Week - Grades K5-2nd

Come explore God’s Creation with us during a fun-filled Science Spirit Week.
Each day we will explore a new area of God’s world and discover some of the amazing details He created in our world’s design. Goal: Spark curiosity through science experiments and enticing educational glimpses into each area through a biblical worldview lens. Praise and Worship each day. Snack break and outside time (weather permitting).

Crusader Cheer Camp – Grades 1-6

Are you ready to Stand up and Cheer?
Join Mrs. Brooks and get to know the basics of cheerleading at this fun, interactive camp that includes learning cheers that focus on crisp, sharp motions and voice control all while sharing God and glorifying His kingdom. Other fun activities include a dance routine, how to create cheer banners, the purpose of stretching, pom poms, and crowd interaction.

Introduction to FPA Sports – Grades K5-2 - WAITLIST

A fun, fast-paced multi-sport camp! Discover the excitement of the various sports we offer at FPA while working on age-appropriate skills such as running, jumping, throwing, and kicking. Each day will cover a specific sport such as basketball, soccer, and volleyball and include skills and games that revolve around that day's targeted sport. Ideal for young athletes who love to run and play!

For athletes, there is nothing like competing in the Olympics! Discover the excitement of the Olympics right here at FPA. Students will be divided into teams and compete throughout the week for their team, trying to earn gold, silver or bronze medals! Each day will cover different Olympic sports such as basketball, soccer, and track and field and include skills and games that revolve around that day's targeted sport. A variety of both team and individual sports will be covered. Ideal for any young student who loves to play!

Organizational Boot Camp – Grade 6

Being organized is a skill, and like any skill, it can be learned and must be practiced regularly. In an effort to equip students with strong organizational skills – which will undoubtedly serve them throughout their lifetime – we are about to begin Organization Boot Camp! Students will learn 3 principles that, when applied consistently and with parental support, will create more time for the fun stuff and alleviate some of the stress that comes with living in a disorganized state all the time.

Sew Much Fun: A Beginner’s Sewing Camp – Grades 4-6

Get ready to dive into the world of sewing in this exciting, hands-on summer camp! Over the course of five days, campers will learn the basics of sewing, from threading a needle and tying a knot to mastering essential stitches like the running stitch and backstitch. Through guided practice and creative projects, students will build confidence in their sewing skills while fostering creativity and problem-solving. Slime Camp – Grades 5-9

Greenville Academy of Martial Arts  Self-Defense/Anti-Bullying Class  - Grades 3-6

Kung-fu provides kids with tons of great self-defense techniques and exercise. But not only that, they’ll be laughing and sweating as they also learn all about the core lessons of self-control and respect too. A child with discipline, confidence and self-defense skills is bully-proof!

Drama Kids Comedy Club - Grades 1-3

Step into the spotlight and let the laughter begin! At Comedy Club, young performers will unleash their inner goofball, transforming into silly, larger-than-life characters with wacky costumes and playful props. Campers will tumble into the world of clowning, mastering hilarious tricks like balloon balancing, silly walks, and giggle-inducing improv games. Every day is an adventure filled with storytelling, acting, and belly laughs!
Mornings are all about building drama skills—practicing speech lines, silent movement, and spontaneous improv. In the afternoons, full-day campers will bring it all together, preparing for a grand finale performance on Friday, July 11th at 3:30 PM, where family and friends will witness their comedy magic live!

Drama Kids Comedy Club – Grades 4-6

Lights, laughter, action! Welcome to Comedy Club, where young comedians take center stage, diving deeper into the art of humor, improv, and storytelling. Campers will craft original characters, experiment with over-the-top physical comedy, and fine-tune their timing like true comedic pros. From slapstick and clowning to scene-stealing sketches, every day is an uproarious adventure in self-expression!

Mornings are spent sharpening their drama skills with improv challenges, expressive movement, and comedic storytelling. In the afternoons, full-day campers will put it all together, rehearsing for an end-of-week showcase on Friday, July 25th at 3:30 PM, where their comedic genius will shine for family and friends!
